GERTJAN STRAALMAN
Started Focal Communication in 1987. Educated as photographer in The Hague and steadicam operator in London. Has been working as a cameraman for more than 20 years for both national and international broadcasting. Wanted to keep up with the latest technologies and is therefore now mainly working for international organisations with the Panasonic Varicam HD camera.
Besides the filming, Gertjan writes most of the scripts.
ARJAN VAN GENDEREN
Worked for more than 15 years in the communication business. A producer and a perfectionist. Together with Gertjan running the Dutch company onswerk.tv
KIRSTEN STRAALMAN
After an education in tourism and travelling around the world, she accepted a job in the facility industry.
Nowadays also parttime editor. Kirsten is an “Apple Certified Pro - Final Cut Pro 7 Level 1” professional editor.
Ater working two years as an editor for FC, Kirsten started her own company in January 2009. Most of the HD footage of Focal Communication will be edited by Kirsten.
